This Quart of Ding All Gloss Resin is polyester resin. Polyester resin is the industry standard for making surfboards and has been for years! Gloss resin is the final layer of resin and is optional. It contains surfacing agents in it already that allow for it to be buffed out to an extremely smooth and clear coat to protect and show off the work underneath! Gloss coats on surfboards are like clear coats on the paint jobs on cars! it'll only make it look better!
